Bungie Surprised By Criticisms That Destiny Is ...Too Small!!!

When the Destiny beta went live last month, some fans immediately criticized developer Bungie over the fact that every planet will only have one location to explore. The studio quickly responded to these concerns, saying
these locations will have a deep scope and breadth of activities, and could even get larger over time through add-on content. Now, Bungie has commented again on the debate over Bungie's size.
Bungie director of production Jonty Barnes tells Eurogamer, "If I'm honest with you, it blew my mind, because it's the biggest game we've ever made. I don't think people understand the depth and amount of gameplay there is in Destiny." He added that people were basing their opinions on the beta version of Destiny, which represents just a slice of what the full game has to offer. "I don't understand how people could have that concern when you think about that and all the different planets we're going to open up and the gameplay we've got there," he said.
Barnes said he's not losing sleep over the concerns, however, because he knows just how massively larger Destiny is than anything Bungie has ever made before. "I honestly believe Destiny is a huge game," he said. "I can tell you that through blood and sweat as well. It's been a huge game and undertaking for us. Compared to anything we've done before, if you're going to do a comparison, you're laughing, honestly."
Destiny launches September 9 for Xbox 360Xbox OnePlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4. Though publisher Activision says PC is a "natural fit," the game is not confirmed for computers.
